Propeller Shaft Brackets

The shaft bracket is important for the performance of the vessel, and by selecting our shaft bracket we can ensure that you get a bracket that take care of your vessels performance.

West Mekan designs, manufactures and supplies propeller shaft brackets, and they are delivered complete with or without water-lubricated bearings, and can be with I or A-type bracket.

Moulded brackets are supplied in aluminum bronze with NACA profile according to the vessels speed for optimum water flow to the propeller. It is delivered with or without flange connection to the hull depending upon customer demand.

Brackets in steel, stainless steel and aluminium are supplied fully welded with a profile according to the client’s wishes.

Our brackets are delivered for shaft diameters from 25-150 mm.
