CP-HVP system

Type CP-HVP – propeller system with controllable pitch propeller

The WM CP-HVP, propeller system is a controllable pitch propeller system that are used on gearboxes with servo inside the gearbox, and cannot be used in combination with a gearbox without servo mechanism.

The pitch is controlled by a rod inside the propeller shaft connected to the gearbox in one end and the propeller hub in the other end. Inside the propeller hub are parts that allows the propeller blades to have pitch setting from reverse to design pitch + some extra pitch.

Response time for the pitch setting is quick, but not as quick as on our CH-HE system. The basic control system is normally delivered by the gearbox supplier. More advanced control systems can be delivered.

Be aware that this kind of propeller systems cannot be delivered with a flexible coupling or thrust bearing between the propeller system and the gearbox.

The WM CP-HVP system is delivered in shaft diameters from 40-150 mm shaft diameter, and is designed for simple and easy maintenance at a low cost.
