Shaft bearings

West Mekan supplies shaft bearings from a range of renowned manufacturers. Depending on manufacturer, the bearings offer a range of properties, but they all generate little friction resistance with the shaft.

We stock bearings in several material in most sizes from 25 mm to 100 mm as well as some imperial sizes (inches). The bearings are supplied as rubber bearings with a range of tubes or as synthetic bearings for use in demanding conditions.

Regular replacement of water-lubricated bearings reduces the risk of noise and vibrations from the propeller system. The bearings are supplied for shaft diameters up to 300 mm and a wide range of materials for both shell and “lubrication surface”.
