Shaft flanges

West Mekan design, manufacture and supply shaft flanges in a range of designs and materials. Our flanges can be designed to fit most apllications, both gearboxes and flexible couplings for shafts with a diameter up to 300 mm.

Mounting of the flange to the propeller shaft can be designed to be done either by heat expanding, clamping, keyway w/clamping or oil injection.

For oil injection mounting specials tools are needed, but is the recommended solution for shaft diameter from 70 mm and above.

West Mekan can make shaft flanges for most purposes, and in all materials that can be machined.
